The Calgary Zoo

Dear Friends and Families,

THE ZOO WAS AMAZING!
(Even though it was a bit smokey and gloomy)
Thank you to all the volunteers that made it out on Friday. The field trip would not have been possible without your gift of time.

We are now busy with preparing for our celebration of learning. We can't wait to show families everything we have done this year.

Social Studies
We have been working on our All About Me poster. We have been presenting our posters this week! We talked about presentations skills and how to be good audiences. When we are presenting, we need to make sure that we speak in a loud, clear voice and our body is facing the audience. The audience needs to make sure that we are being good listeners and are sitting quietly.

Language Arts
Here are a list of sight words that we have learned in class. We have been using them in our writing!
I, a, the, is, dad, mom, bird, cat, dog, pet, on, in, day, see, with, to, and, my, can, go, for, she, her, you, this, saw, at, boy, run, he, play, was, trip, went, bus

Home reading exchanges are done on Mondays. Please ensure your child brings their books back.
