Hello Families and Friends,
This month, we are focussing on peacefulness and mindfulness. Students started off with talking about things that make them calm and this lead us to our conversations about why we wear a poppy for remembrance day.
Remembrance Day
We read the book, "A poppy is to remember" and talked about why we wear poppies. We made a beautiful poppy art to go along with the book.
Math
We learned to represent numbers in 6 different ways. This week we started with the number 1.
Things to practice at home:
Last day to order photos - November 12, 2019
PM Kindergarten attends on Friday, November 15, 2019
AM Kindergarten Celebration of Learning (formal uniform) - November 21 @ 10:30AM
Home reading is due back on Thursday if you would like to exchange your books.
