Hello friends and families!
We talked a lot about feelings this week and will continue to do so for the rest of the month. Ask your child to make these faces for you: excited, shy, happy, sad, silly, angry and worried.
We started learning about number. We learned to represent numbers in six different ways - word, number, tally mark, dice, in a picture and power of ten. If you would like to learn more about the power of ten, here is the link! http://poweroften.ca/
We added new literacy centres! The kinders are having a lot of fun building and workings with letters and sounds!

The photographer has requested that student bring in their proof packages complete with proof sheet and order form so it is easier for them to correct the picture.
Tuesday, November 20, 2018 - National Child Day https://nationalchildday.ca/ Your child can choose to wear blue today, casual day for TLC students.
Thursday, November 22, 2018 - Celebration of Learning at 10:30AM - Please wear your formal uniform this day.
Friday, November 23, 2018 - Non-Instruction Day, no school this day

I sent home "Power of 10 Cards" in the folder, please use them for the homework. If you need additional cards, I uploaded the document onto the additional support page.
On the additional support page, there are links for the First 26 Grapheme sounds. Please practice these sounds with your child. If your child needs help with printing, I also uploaded templates that they can use. (I use these templates in the classroom)
