Hello Families and Friends,
We had an exciting week filled with lots of new learning. We started learning about different lines which will be an introduction to printing letters. Here are some of the lines we learned. Ask your child to show you some of the different lines (straight, curly, wavy, zig-zag, castle)
We talked about what makes us special and drew a picture of ourselves with marker and painted it with water colour! We can't wait for you to check it out our amazing artwork at the open house this Thursday!

PS. We will be going outside and doing a walk to Colonel J. Fred Scott on Wednesday. (if the weather is nice)

We learned that Terry Fox is a Canadian hero. Ask your child what a hero is and why Terry Fox is a hero. The morning kindergarten class participated in a Terry Fox run and all the students did the best they could.
