Green and Red Choices

Hello Families and Friends, This week, we talked a lot about making red choices and green choices. "A choice that makes my teacher and parents happy is called a green choice." For example: Sitting quietly, participating, following directions, sharing, being kind. "A choice that makes my teacher and parents sad and disappointed is called a red choice." For example: hitting, throwing things, mean words, hurting others. Ask your child what some green choices are at school. Literacy This week we learned the letter B and C. Hello Families and Friends, This week we talked about your families. We talked about who is in our family and how many people there are. Students will get a chance to bring in a photo from home so stay tuned for a letter that will be sent home. Math We learned to represent numbers in 6 different ways. This week we learned the number 2. Things to practice at home: Name (First letter is upper case and the rest is lower case) Letter A-H and the sounds they makes. Number 2 and the different ways to represent it.
