Pumpkin Inquiry

Hello Families and Friends,

We wrapped up our month of Kindness with an amazing book by Todd Parr. We have been talking about kindness for the entire month of October. Students were caught being kind and we placed jewels into our kindness jar! Ask your child about all the kind things that has been happening in the classroom. We hope that everyone continues to be kind as we add to our other character development topics.

Pumpkin Exploration
We learned about our five senses. Ask your child what the five senses are. We used 4/5 (sight, smell, touch, hear) of our senses to explore and inquire about pumpkins. Most of the students did not like to touch the inside of the pumpkin :p (I wonder why..)

We also learned about the pumpkin life cycle and we did a drawing of the pumpkin life cycle.

Happy Halloween to those who celebrate :)
